Vehicle Classification Surveys
Whether it’s using metrocount classifiers, high mast video recorders, or manual methods, we adapt to your needs. Our skilled team ensures accurate results by customizing outputs to include Austroads classifications or even specific details like vehicles with boat trailers, b-double trucks, or construction vehicles. We report on Average Daily Traffic (ADT) and can tailor our reporting intervals to your needs, such as 15 minutes to 1 hour.
Speed Surveys
Speed surveys are one of the most prevalent surveys required in the industry and we certainly have the expertise to conduct them using Metrocount equipment and technology. We can generate a wide range of reporting methodologies including minimum, maximum and mean speeds, number of exceeding vehicles, 85th percentile and 50th percentile.
Queue Surveys
Our go-to method for conducting these surveys is using high-mast video collection units, which provide accurate and reliable results. We analyse delay times and queuing lengths – the number of vehicles in the queue, enabling the identification of low-functioning areas of the road infrastructure. Leave the queue length measurements to us and gain valuable insights for efficient traffic management!
Intersection Turning movement Surveys
With our high-mast video cameras, we’ve got eyes on every move! From intersections to midblocks and roundabouts. Our recordings are usually done in 15-minute intervals, and we can classify vehicles into different categories, whether it’s all light vehicles and heavy vehicles or based on Austroads classes.
Travel Time Surveys
Travel Time Surveys are all about measuring a vehicle’s time in relation to its distance covered. To ensure accurate data collection, we use suitable tools tailored to each task. We have Wifi enabled equipment capable of reading mobile device signals (Mac address) which can determine travel time between locations.
